About Survelans

Built so you can move through life with confidence.

Survelans is a Nigerian safety tech brand. We're building a small, stylish wearable and an app that work together, so reaching the people you trust takes one quiet action instead of a frantic phone search.

Why we started

Walking home late, a ride that feels wrong, a crowded place — lots of us have felt uneasy and wished help was closer. Pulling out your phone isn't always safe or possible.

Our mission

Make it easy and discreet to reach your trusted people when something feels off.

Our vision

A world where everyone — students, workers, parents, anyone — feels free and independent, knowing their people are a tap away.

Why discreet matters

Help shouldn't draw attention. Quiet gear means you can stay calm and still send a signal.

How It Works

Five steps from "something's off" to "my people know."

  1. Step 1

    Connect

Pair the wearable with the companion app using Bluetooth.

  2. Step 2

    Activate

Trigger an emergency with the final approved activation method (currently a long press).

  3. Step 3

    Share

Your phone tries to grab your location and alert up to three emergency contacts you picked.

  4. Step 4

    Record

The app tries to record a short emergency audio clip — 30 seconds is the planned length.

  5. Step 5

    Respond

Your contacts get the info that's available. Only authorised people can see incident details in the app.

Good to know

Everything here depends on your phone's permissions, battery, Bluetooth, GPS and internet, and on final technical testing. Survelans is a personal safety aid. It does not contact the police or emergency services and can't promise a rescue.
